Nikon Filters
All Nikons filters are solid glass, with the exception of polarizing filters, which are sandwich-type (two-piece) filters. The special optical glass used in Nikon filters is ground and polished to ensure that both surfaces of the glass are optically flat and parallel to eliminate distortions. Both filter surfaces also have a multi-layer coating to prevent flections and are ideal for use with Nikons range of lenses.
