Intuitive control
An intuitive Joystick on the frame of the LCD screen enables easy access to shooting and playback controls. Alternatively, a powerful multiangle remote control allows you to operate the DC330 from anywhere in the room.
Record for longer
Record onto DVD-R Dual Layer media and take advantage of longer recording times. Perfect for extended days out, you can store up to 108 minutes on an 8cm Dual Layer DVD. An optional high capacity battery extends shooting time further.
True Widescreen recording
Using the True Wide High Resolution 16:9 recording system, capture movies that are perfect for playback on widescreen TV sets. The True Wide system incorporates a 2.7” 16:9 LCD screen and a 0.35” 16:9 EVF (Electronic Viewfinder).
Supplied software
DC330 comes complete with a Corel Application Disc and a Canon Digital Video Solution Disc – powerful software to help you manage and edit videos and still images.
DIGIC DV II for photos and videos
Inherited from Canon’s High Definition camcorder range, DIGIC DV II is an advanced image processor offering superior response times and advanced noise reduction technology. With split path processing, DIGIC DV II is able to handle video and still images separately, optimising the colours of each – whether for a TV screen or a photo print.
LCD video light
Turn the DC330’s LCD screen to face forwards and it doubles as a handy video light. Perfect for shooting in dark conditions, it becomes possible to capture close-up subjects in full colour.
Advanced photo capture
Still images are captured directly to SD or SDHC (High Capacity) memory cards, easily shared with friends and family. Alternatively, the camcorder can be connected directly to a PictBridge compatible printer, for easy photo printing.
