Upgraded version of the Polaris 2 Meter offering 5 degree spot and incident measurements for both ambient & flash light.
Readings are accurate to 1/10 stop and fractional measurements are clearly shown on the analog scle in 1/10 and 1/3 stop increments. Flash measurements can be made via a sync lead or totally cordless, while ambient readings can be viewed by f. stop and shutter speed or EV number. Film speeds can be set from ISO 3 to 8000 and shutter speeds from 60 seconds to 1/8000 seconds. In addition, there are an extra 8 dedicated flash sync speeds and 5 half stop ambient speeds. Thanks to the Polaris built in memory, all settings are retained when the meter is switched off, even when the single AA battery needs replacing. The Polaris SPOTVIEW 10 is a clip-on viewfinder with 10 degree lens which allows the Polaris Meter to take spot readings without adjustment.
