Lightweight and ultra compact design, a full-fledged 28-300mm zoom lens with 1:3 Macro capabilities.
Using our own triple-cam internal-focus system, we achieved a high zoom ratio of 10.7:1 with a focal length range from 28mm wide angle to 300mm telephoto. This means that you can capture widely varying subjects without having to change lenses, so you won't miss out when the decisive moment arrives. The lens is also very portable, making it ideal for travel photography. In fact, it covers a wide range of subject situations from landscape photography to snap photography on the street. In addition, this lens re-defines high performance, giving you a high degree of flexibility in selecting picture composition and the power to express exactly what you want.
Ultra compact dimensions, length: 83.7mm (3.3"), diameter: 74mm (2.9"), Filter Size: 62mm and a 10.7:1 zoom ratio make this lens the ultimate traveling companion. This versatile, all-purpose zoom can capture a wide ranging series of subjects using its wide angle, ultra-telephoto and close-up capabilities. It is equipped with a 'zoom lock' to prevent the zoom action extending whilst the lens is being carried.
The aspherical lens delivers high image quality throughout the zoom range.
It incorporates 2pcs Special Low Dispersion SLD glass elements and 4pcs Aspherical Lenses, to produce a high level of optical performance. Aspherical lenses provide excellent correction for all types of aberration. Moreover, the technology we used in this lens has made a significant contribution to compact design.
Advance optical features allows for 1:3 Macro Photography
This lens has a minimum focusing distance of 50cm at all focal lengths. Equipped with a macro mechanism for close-up photography at 300mm telephoto, with a reproduction ratio of 1:3.
The inner focus system allows the lens to accept a Petal-type hood.
The inner focus system allows the lens to be focused without having to turn the front of the lens, and facilitates the use of a circular polarizing filter. It also allows the lens to accept a Petal-type hood, with its superior light-blocking effect.
