VersaMount makes your TrekPod an even more versatile tool.
VersaMount enables:

VersaMount can quickly be secured anywhere along a TrekPod’s
upper or lower tubes and be used to mount a MagMount or ShotRest mount for use with Mag Adapter-mounted devices. Like TrekPod TrekPod II , VersaMount has an industry standard 1/4”-20 threaded stud, so almost any photographic or optical accessory can be attached.
VersaMount works on virtually any tube with a diameter between 14.25mm and 29.5mm, which equates to 0.56 inches (9/16") and 1.16 inches (just over 1-1/8"). Manufactured from high-strength aluminum alloy, VersaMount is extremely strong, yet weighs less than 3 ounces and fits in your pocket when not in use.
